So, as I've posted previously, my hours at work were cut and I've been looking for ways of 'over-coming' my lack of income. Soooooo.... now I'm the new (part-time) manager for our local comic book store.
Yeah, you read that right I now work in a comic book store. Only for five hours a week to start, but hey, if I can help make the store profitable my hours may increase. 'Course, things may change if I get an entirely new full-time job at either Ohio University or at Ohio State University, or somewhere else. But for now, I hope to have fun with it...
Guess it's time for me to brush off my managerial skills and take them out for a workout. *grin*

And yes.. congrats and the article was a matter of short discussion on the SCA-Pictish list. Baroness/Mistress Eithni actually worked with Professor Carver on the dig at Tarbat (the monastery). She said it was fun... and I'm her student now. Yay me!!
Not to mention that I got you some roving of your own. :)
I suppose that part of that would depend on whether or not a pound would be enough roving to spin into a sufficient amount of yarn to make the shaw?
beyond that, it's up to you. I'll be at Melee this coming weekend, and figured I'd bring it with me, and either give it to you, or send it home with someone from Athens.
